WORDPRESS / WEB DEVELOPMENT

I build WordPress sites that work well long after launch.

Custom WordPress development, accessibility, performance and long-term development. I help companies, institutions and agencies build sites that remain fast, maintainable and easy to develop.

A new build, a redesign or a difficult issue no one wants to touch.

You don’t need another website. You need something that will still be easy to develop one, two or five years from now.

That means thinking beyond launch — about content editing, maintenance, future development and the people who will work with the site every day.

10+

years with WordPress

From simple websites to complex platforms and custom WordPress development.

Custom

Custom WordPress

Custom themes, Gutenberg blocks, ACF, post types, integrations and project-specific solutions.

AA

WCAG & accessibility

Accessibility treated as part of the product, not as a checklist added before an audit.

∞

Built for the long term

Code that can be maintained, extended and handed over without locking the project to one developer.

HOW I CAN HELP

I’m most useful when WordPress stops being a simple website.

When content gets complex, multiple languages enter the picture, accessibility matters, performance starts slipping or the code has already passed through several hands — you need development, not another plugin.

01 / CUSTOM

Custom WordPress

WordPress shaped around the project — not a project forced into an off-the-shelf theme.

Custom themes, Gutenberg blocks, ACF, custom post types, integrations and solutions built around the way the site actually needs to work.

02 / WCAG

Accessibility & performance

A site should be accessible and fast in real use, not only in an audit report.

I diagnose and fix accessibility issues, Core Web Vitals, frontend bottlenecks and WordPress performance problems.

03 / RESCUE

Existing WordPress sites

Not every project needs to be rebuilt from scratch.

I take over existing sites, fix bugs, clean up code, solve update-related problems and develop projects left behind by previous developers.

04 / AGENCIES

White-label development for agencies

Senior WordPress support when your team needs extra technical capacity.

I can step into a project to handle complex development, code reviews, integrations or the parts your internal team simply does not have time for.

SELECTED WORK

Projects where good design is only the beginning.

Each one started with a real problem to solve - from content architecture and editorial workflows to accessibility, performance and long-term development.

Does this sound familiar?

The frontend usually isn’t the hardest part.

The real problems tend to appear underneath: content, integrations, accessibility, multilingual logic, performance and decisions made years ago.

01

“It works in Polish. Not in English.”

Multilingual WordPress can quickly complicate routing, search, menus, custom post types and plugin data.

I help untangle it.

02

“Editors need to be able to do this themselves.”

A CMS should help editors work independently instead of requiring a developer for every content change.

I build Gutenberg and ACF interfaces that people can actually use.

03

“The audit says WCAG. What now?”

An accessibility report alone does not fix the website.

I turn accessibility requirements into concrete changes in code, components and content workflows.

04

“We added caching. It’s still slow.”

Because caching is not always the problem.

I look at the frontend, queries, plugins, PHP, database and architecture instead of guessing.

ABOUT

I’m Marek. I’ve been solving WordPress problems for over 10 years.

I’m at my best when the project is no longer simple.

I work on institutional websites and commercial projects. I build custom solutions, develop existing systems and step in when WordPress needs a more engineering-focused approach.

You talk to me.
I write the code.
I take responsibility for the solution.

HOW I WORK

Less ceremony. More responsibility for the outcome.

I keep the process as simple as the project allows. Understand the problem, make sensible decisions and leave the project in a better state than I found it.

01

DISCOVERY

I understand the problem

I don’t start with technology. First I work out what needs to improve, who will use it and where the actual problem lies.

  • what needs to improve
  • who will use it
  • where the problem lies

02

DELIVERY

I make sensible decisions

I choose the solution to fit the problem, not the other way around. No technology for technology’s sake, unnecessary dependencies or shortcuts that make future development harder.

  • the right solution
  • no needless dependencies
  • room to develop

03

LONG-TERM DEVELOPMENT

The project keeps moving

A project should remain easy to develop after launch. I leave behind readable code and solutions that can be maintained, handed over and extended without starting again from scratch.

  • readable code
  • easy handover
  • future development

Launch ≠ the end of the project. It’s when its real life begins.
