Project delivered as part of my professional role at ICM UW.

A WordPress website presenting the OMICS Data Science postgraduate programme at ICM UW. The project brings together information about the curriculum, teaching staff, admissions and course organisation in one consistent website.

Context

OMICS Data Science is a postgraduate programme focused on biological data analysis and data science methods.

The website serves as the main source of information for prospective participants looking for details about the programme and the admissions process.

Challenge

The amount of information covering the curriculum, teaching staff and admissions required a clear and accessible content structure.

Key information needed to work equally well for someone discovering the programme for the first time and for candidates looking for specific organisational details.

My role

I was responsible for implementing and developing the website in WordPress.

The work included preparing the page and template structure and translating the programme content into a format that is straightforward for visitors and manageable through the CMS.

Information architecture

The content is organised into clear areas including:

• admissions,
• organisational information.

This allows visitors to move from a general overview to detailed information without navigating long and unstructured pages.
