Project delivered as part of my professional role at ICM UW.
A virtual booth created for ICM UW for the Supercomputing SC21 conference. The website presented the Centre’s work, projects and infrastructure as a dedicated online information hub.
Context
SC21 is an international event focused on supercomputing, high-performance computing and emerging technologies.
ICM UW needed a website that could present its activities to conference participants in an online format.
Challenge
A broad range of information about ICM needed to be presented within a relatively compact experience.
Visitors needed to move quickly between topics without navigating the structure of a large institutional website.
My role
I was responsible for implementing the website in WordPress and developing its front-end layer.
The content was organised into sections presenting key areas of ICM UW activity and materials related to the Centre’s participation in SC21.
Development
The project was built as a standalone microsite, allowing conference-related content to be presented in a more focused format than on the main ICM website.
Result
The result was an online ICM UW booth allowing SC21 participants to quickly explore the Centre’s research, education, projects and infrastructure.
